DSRC is a mature technology, but the reality is that on-board unit (OBU) suppliers capable of delivering solutions to meet the use-cases of deployments are sparse. This is primarily due to the limited expertise available to manage a middleware which meets multiple standards across different global regions. Furthermore, a high performing certified OBU means nothing if the correct antennas are not selected and positioned properly.
