Ready to see what Singapore is doing in the V2V world? ReachRF visits the NTU-NXP Testbed and is invited to give a talk about V2V development in the United States.
Abstract:
Arguably, the United States has the most realizable deployment of Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) compared to other nations. For the past 15 years, the US has been building an ecosystem of industry players as well as building an academic research and patent portfolio regarding V2V/V2I. But to date, autonomous vehicles have a federal policy, but not yet V2V. Why? In this talk, we discuss the current progress of V2V/V2I in the United States from an industry and policy perspective. As well as research conducted at the at the Georgia Institute of Technology that could encourage V2V/V2I adoption sooner.
